As believers, we are indeed chosen by God, but the work of Christ must still be completed in us. For this, our faith goes through all kinds of trials and sufferings. Only in this way do we reach the goal of our faith: the salvation of our souls and the complete sanctification that we absolutely need for the building of the spiritual house and the holy priesthood. The ultimate goal is Zion: the place where God receives the spiritual sacrifices.
